Amber is so interesting to me because it was formed thousands of years ago and lapidary artists are now able to create beautiful shapes for jewelry artists to showcase in different metals. This piece of Amber was carved to resemble a leaf. I've taken that idea of a golden Fall leaf and repeated it through the design of the pendant.
 
Both the front and back have captured that Fall theme with a leaf imprinted in the sterling silver. The smallest Kingman turquoise has been bezel set on the side of the hollowform pendant. The overall dimension of the pendant is 1.5", shown here with a 20" leather cord, but would look equally nice with a sterling silver chain.
